This virtually derelict listed barn was fully restored to create a contemporary three bedroom / three bathroom rental cottage within the original reclad timber frame, which was left exposed internally.

A cantilevered timber staircase and a suspended glass bridge link the first-floor bedrooms across a dramatic full height living space.

The restored barn now complements the setting of the adjacent 18th Century farmhouse which the practice has also been involved in modernizing and extending.
