Louis de Soissons to provide full architectural, project management and contract administration services to deliver a new care home and supported living facility to meet future need.

Grantley Court is a large detached three storey Edwardian building, originally a private family house, which was used until recently as a 30 bed nursing home. Kingly Care Partnership purchased the vacant property in 2015.
Louis de Soissons were commissioned to undertake a feasibility study of the site and existing building. The existing building has been greatly extended over recent years, but is now entirely unsuited for current care home requirements. It has an overwhelming institutional character, completely unsuited to its proposed use. The current bedrooms are undersized and underlit, with insufficient bathrooms and many changes in the floor levels.

The proposal is to demolish the existing building and construct a new 10 bedroom care home, providing 24 hour support for 10 service users with learning disability, autism or epilepsy.

Louis de Soissons following pre application advise have submitted a planning application for the proposed scheme, and are commissioned to provide full architectural detailed design, project management and contract administration services.
