North Street Quadrant – Brighton

Challenging redevelopment of well-known Brighton island retail site

Redevelopment of an important island site in the centre of Brighton. The site includes a Grade II listed public house, The Quadrant, which has been carefully restored and incorporated into the scheme.

The site slopes dramatically and the five-storey building has been designed to provide large floor plates with level entrance to all four retail units.

This busy and logistically difficult Island site development in Brighton involved new basements, multiple changes of level, retaining historic facades whilst succeeding to creating a contemporary retail destination.
