This Neo-Georgian designed dwelling follows the trend of modern development locally, replacing the tired and outdated early 20th Century properties within this private estate.
A single dwelling comprising 7 bedrooms all with ensuites, an impressive entrance hall extending 3 storeys, extensive ground floor accommodation including indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, cinema room, staff quarters and a triple garage set in landscaped gardens.
Louis de Soissons were appointed as project managers and contract administrators to deliver the project taking charge of the project team, managing costs, and compliance with bank funding obligations.
The project ran into difficulties prior to our involvement and we were appointed to take over the, over by 4 months, project. Less than two months later, the main contractor fell into administration and a detailed project recovery plan was devised to address the immediate site issues including security, dealing with subcontractors, the contract and legal issues arising and retendering the project to complete. This was all achieved whilst maintaining the confidence of the bank funders and their monitoring surveyor.
The scheme was successfully completed with a minimal 3 month impact to programme which, in the circumstances, was a phenomenal achievement.
The project took approximately 22 months to build.
